Kim Derk, CEO
Kim is the area’s first board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Kim earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana, a master’s degree from Ball State University in special education with graduate certifications in behavior analysis and autism. Kim is pursuing her doctoral degree. In addition, she remains on the faculty of Ball State University.
Rachel Beckley, LifeSong Manager
Rachel has a degree in health services from the University of Southern Indiana. She has previous experience working with the Department of Child Services. Rachel is a Safety Crisis Management-certified trainer.
Nikki Bilderback, State Services Manager/Executive Assistant to the CEO
Nikki has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Indiana, and a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University. She has previous experience working in international adoption and for the Department of Child Services.
Courtney Haan, Integration Program Manager
Angela Clark, Accountant
Angela received a post-baccalaureate certificate in professional accountancy from the University of Southern Indiana. She has worked as an accountant for home businesses and the City of Evansville. She has several seasons of tax preparation work and has passed all sections of the CPA exam.
Brock Quinton, Business Development Manager
Brock received his bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy from Murray State University.Brock has previous experience working with Alzheimer’s patients in a personal care facility and working at a special needs camp. He is also a certified therapeutic recreational specialist.
Keri Voegel, Operations Manager
After many years of experience working with special needs children, Keri received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood from the University of Southern Indiana and a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University. She is a licensed teacher.
Lara Bishop, Community Concierge
Lara has many decades experience working with children with special needs and autism in New Hampshire. Prior to working with LifeSong Academy she was trained in ABA and discrete trial methods while working in an autism classroom for 9 years.
Paula Durbin, Occupational Therapist
Autumn Henning, Speech Therapist
Autumn attended the University of Kentucky and earned a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences and Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist recognized by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association with the Certificate of Clinical Competence. She specializes in oral-motor and feeding difficulties and is Beckman Oral Motor Certified.
Emily Maxberry, Program Manager
Emily has bachelor’s degrees in special education and elementary education and a master’s degree in special education – intensive intervention from Oakland City University as well as a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University. She is a licensed teacher and has previous experience teaching in the classroom, some of which was overseas.
Stephanie Moore, Program Manager
Stephanie attended Ball State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in family and child development and a minor in social work. She is completing her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Ball State.
Krystle Price, Program Coordinator
Krystle earned a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and a psychology minor from Indiana State University. She is currently working on her master’s degree from Ball State in applied behavior analysis.
